On August 20th, Liu Zheng, the Party Secretary and Chairman of DSIC, met with Mo Jianhui, the Party Secretary and Acting President of China Classification Society, and his delegation. Leaders of DSIC such as Deng Changlian and Lu Xiaohui, and the heads of relevant departments attended the meeting.

Mo Jianhui said that DSIC is a leading enterprise in China in the field of naval equipment construction and shipbuilding industry. It has built many types of main warships for the navy over the years and has made outstanding contributions to the national defense construction, and has reached international advanced level in the construction of ships and offshore equipment. As a part of China's shipping industry, China Classification Society has carried out a lot of fruitful cooperation with DSIC. China Classification Society will establish closer strategic cooperative partnership with DSIC, promote each other and develop together, and make new and greater contributions to the development of China's shipbuilding industry.
